Badge removal

Badge removal hey guys i was thinking about painting the formula badges on doors but i don't know how they come off and i don't want to take a chance on screwing my paint up.

The Camaro ones are attached with emblem tape. I would think the Formula ones would be the same? I just took some fishing line and "sawed" up and down between the emblem and the car and they came right off. Use Goo-Gone, WD-40 etc to remove the leftover residue. Maybe someone with a Formula can verify that??

use a blow dryer or leave your car in the sun for an hour, heat definitely helps. i used bug and tar remover on mine (says it was clear coat safe on the can)

mine literally came off with no effort the other day. i had fishing line just in case but they came off easier than i thought. then use wd40 to get off the tape adhesive left behind
