American muscle is considered sancrosanct, people went nuts when the Charger came back as a 4 door. Doing things that people consider "rice" to an American icon is bound to get people in a twist.
However, another more important American icon is the idea of "Private Property".
It's your car, not communal property, do whatever the **** you want. But ask for an opinion and you'll get plenty of them.
Search in this section and you should still be able to find pic of a black TA that looked very nice with the lambo doors. It can look good, but people are are very stubborn about certain appearance mods. Im pretty sure it was a high end kit that was used though and there was fab work involved. Good luck if you go for it.

As far as the kit goes, I think it was a wingdoor style kit, because the piece shown doesnt look like a VSD kit, but i could be wrong. Either way you dont want to go cheap when it comes to lambo door kits. If you want to do it, then go ahead, it's your car and thats all that matters. Here's a pic of a red TA with lambo doors
