You wanted to call me out on my opinion plane and simple. One other person did as well which I didnt really care about because he didnt go as far as tryin to offend me, but you on the other hand did. If you were standing right next to me and said that I woulda laid you flat on your ***, no questions asked.

Not only did you insult me, but the hard working americans/people who went outta their way to make that "rice" body kit (whether it was made in USA is till unknown but for sake of argument it was). If it wasnt for this great country of hard working individuals, there wouldnt be anything to add to our rides. They would stay stock and not "riced" out? I think the defination of rice gets thrown around to much like its a common cold.

Your trying to compare THIS compared to THIS???? Get freakin real man..

I can't remember ever seeing anything that ugly actually come out of Japan
Thats what ya get for thinking. Theres always something worse/better. Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean it doesnt exist. Ive seen some pretty ugly **** come outta the USA. But you dont see me sittin here bad mouthing it either.

I assume you're referring to the Japanese culture
Never assume anything. Guess since they title of the post was Rice guess you automatically figured I was talking about Japanese cultures.. but then you automatically retracted that by saying..

these horrible body kits are 100% American versions of what people think Japanese cars should look like
Well if that Camaro came from the USA... well guess that Van came from mars?

You said that car was rice. Hence your defination rice =
deforming those cars with huge air craft size spoilers, neon colors, and trash can mufflers.
Seems to me everything on that body kit COULD be made into functional Cooling parts for rotors/calipers, not to mention any IC's... The rear wing yes bit excessive but still functional. Guess it has to have a 250K PRice tag to not be rice?? Lambo/Ferrari have similar designs..

The time the person put into that van had to be insane. Thats alot of fiberglass work. I definately give him and those who helped him props even if it doesnt look the greatest in the world.

Maybe think twice before you try to single someone out and press your views on them. Pick that apart if you want to.

dont take this the wrong way dude. no i am not comparing a riced out van to a camaro. I think the bumper does not go along with the car... period. the picture was meant to show that rice did not "originate" in the US. One of the last things we covered in cultural geography was the fact that people have been known to independently come up with the same ideas (good or bad) at the same time, and receive no influence from one another.

and the difference with lambos and ferraris is that they are originally designed that way. their owners just don't see fit to change anything. I've seen LS1s and big block chevys easily go for 200k+. you just need to look in the right places.

Just skip the body kit. Why add something non-functional that adds weight and hurts ground clearance? Honestly I think our cars look best basically in stock trim anyway...
