People with tinted windows, come inside! I got my windows tinted, 20%, but I am having a problem with them looking milky or whatever at the top of the back window, its because of all those little dots for the window defogger, anyone else having this problem? I am considering, cutting off the tint where the dots begin. Or did I just get a horrible tint job?
Re: People with tinted windows, come inside! How long has it been tinted? If its a new job, the sun should take them out in a few days. If its an old tint job, you may be able to get the bubbles out in that area by using a heat gun or hair dryer and your fingers to work the bubbles out. Tinters are usually good about warranties so take it back if you aren't happy...

I had the same problem. you have to let it sit in the sun for a while, then use your fingers and/or knuckles to press the bubbles out and get the tint to stick up in there. well thats my 2 cents. good luck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: People with tinted windows, come inside! ive got the same prob. theres no way to get rid of it. i tried and tried to press i tup but it didnt work. the tinters warned me that it would look like that, but i didnt care. ineed it don. i got 5% tint on the back, so it stands out even more.

Re: People with tinted windows, come inside! I don't have pictures of it but when I had my car tinted. The tint guy painted the matrix a flat black with spray paint. I didn't lose any real viewable area in the mirror.

Re: People with tinted windows, come inside! Theres pics in my sig of it being painted flat black. I used some engine enamel that I bought at the auto parts store, in flat black. It looks identical to the color of the matrix dots that go around the top of the window. The brand of paint is duplicolor and the part # is DH1602 for the stuff I used.

Re: People with tinted windows, come inside! I have limo tint all the way around on mine, and have never had a problem with bubbling. If there is massive bubbling, take it back for warranty. A good tint person is hard to find...tinted my windows for $120.
