Trans Am Bra
I tried searching(not to hard though) for a picture of a black Trans Am with a Bra. I'm looking at buying a '98 WS6 with 45,000 miles on it and since it's going to be my DD(isn't the guys I'm buying it off of) I don't really want to get the nose all tore up from rocks and bugs. Any help is appreciated! Also, is $12,000 a decent deal for the car? It's all stock(Besides some flowmasters and tint) and is an automatic. Thanks!

i wouldnt keep it on all the time. for long trips or racing like i do, its alright. but left on, during rain/snow/sun, itll screw up your paint worse then driving it. keep it clean, a heavy coat of wax, and portercable with some swirl remover once or twice a year and itll be fine.
12K seems a little high to me, but im not in the market for used LS1s. 45K isnt alot of miles, but for a 98 id offer $10K, personally.

like echo said, its not worth leaving on, dust and other particles get in there rub against the car and scratch it up.
Look into a venture shield. its used on high end cars and is what i'll be putting on mine when i get it repainted this month or next. I've seen it in person and it really does work.

From what I have seen (and I have owned 6 of them), the hoods on these cars are a lot more subject to rock chips and damage than noses are. Even more so on a black car (the chips are white.) So the bra would be a decent idea for added insurance on trips but its not going to really do a lot for you.
Just be sure to keep a decent wax on it to protect against bug marks and the nose should be fine.
