Default Order of detailing?

I am planning to use Meguiars Swirl X on my hood for some light swirls and also Deep System Crystal Polish. In what order should I use these products tho?

1.Swirl X
2.Deep system crystal polish?

Do I have to strip the wax from my hood before I use the Swirl X.

Anyone have experience with these products?

Thats the correct order. The swirl x and polish will remove any wax you have on your hood.

does the swirlx actually remove the swirls or just fill them in? i think i'd go in the opposite order. i've used it a few times with great results, but it says right on the bottle it's non-abrasive so i don't see how it's getting rid of anything. i clay barred my car a week after applying it and i feel like the swirls came right back. maybe i was just looking a lot closer.

Default

Wash (Dawn with no bleach)
Clay
Wash again
Polish w/ machine
Sealant
wax (optional unless no sealant)

That's a proper detail.
