Chrome plating brackets....... Steve2000SS???? How much did it cost you to get your brackets plated? Can you plate the oil cap, washer fluid cap, etc.......or would it be better to buy the caps from MBA? Let me know. Thanks.

Re: Chrome plating brackets....... Steve2000SS???? Buy the caps from MBA (or dealer that sells MBA for a better price).. in hindsight I would have gotten plain satin caps and had them chromed.. less upkeep <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Parts ran around $400 for chroming.. hood hinges are the most expensive and with chroming you get what you pay for.. the more hand work (intricate parts) the more expensive.. Some parts like the hood release I plan on having re-done and paying more since its not quite up to my standards.. Ask some car shows guys local to you who they use.. and start unbolting <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
