..This stuff is supposed to be better than WD-40, so I'd venture a guess that "Yes," they'd get rid of the door hinge squeak.
The difference between Fluid Film and almost all competitive products is the lack of solvents. With no solvent content, Fluid Film will not evaporate or get gummy or tacky, meaning much more usable product that lasts a heck of a long time.
Just so everyone is aware, this sampling program is not cheap. It is one of the most expensive ways to advertise. That shows just how confident we are in this product. So please give this a good test and provide feedback after receiving one. In all fairness, it will take a little time to notice just how good it is, when you see how long it takes to have to reapply.
The smell is a little strong but it may of been because I used too much. A little goes a long way. By the way, how much does a can of this cost?
Thanks for the sample!
Here is where I used it:
1) shock mounts
2) passenger side upper control arm (it is really rusty)
3) those edges in front of the rear wheels I referred to earlier
4) Some rusty spots on the floorpans
5) other random rust spots
I ran out of stuff in the can before I sprayed down all the rust on my car... yeah, mine is that bad

Anyway, I did notice, as advertised, that it did not evaporate or run off. Left a film over everything I sprayed it on.
Now to see whether it stops the rust in its tracks. That will be harder to determine I think. There were a couple spots that the paint underneath had gotten chipped off recently, but no rust had started forming on it yet, so those two areas will be good for seeing how well this stuff prevents/stops rust.

I sprayed it on the hinges of my fridge and my computer chair. They both squeaked like crazy and it was really getting irritating. It works incredibly well for those applications, but beware using it indoors as the smell of the spray can linger for a day or so if it's not well ventilated. But that's to be expected so no surprises there.
I'm gonna go hit the hinges on my car doors and hatch to treat them, then hit up the rust on my quarter and see if it stops it. I'll post updates after it's had some time to work.
So far a great product! I'll end up buying a full size can once this runs out. Are they available yet?
I will be installing my long tube headers on a 2000 LS1 Trans Am with 88,000 Northeast miles on it in the next week or so.
I will use Fluid Film on one side of the engine & PB Blaster on the other. I'll report back with how it performs against PB.
