Default 2010 Camaro SS detailed

2010 Camaro A good friend of mine preordered his the first week you could back in October last year. This is car #085 off the assembly line. Its a fully optioned SS with the exception of the RS package. The fit and finish of this car is incredible! Its what I would expect on a Lexus or better!! The way the doors, hood, and trunk shut just have a good sound to them: quality.

This beauty had 343 miles on the clock. I was a little worried since the dealer prepped it, but they did a good job! Zero swirls on it! As if working on this beauty that turned the head of EVERY passerby, wasn't enough.... when I was done, the owner offered me a free ticket to see Dane Cook live last night following the detail. I'm a big fan of Dane Cook and wanted to see the show but it was sold out too fast. Well, I gotta say it was a good day. My first 5th gen Camaro followed by my favorite comedian and an evening of laughter. The perfect day!

Process:

-Dawn soak with Foam gun
-Megs APC 4:1 wheels tires
-Swissvax Wheel Brush
-EZ Detail Brush
-Dawn wash
-Clayed with Zaino Z18 and Megs Last Touch
-Quick interior wipedown and vacuum
-2 coats of Zaino Z2pro
-Zaino Z6
-Zaino Z16 on the rear valence (which REALLY liked soaking up the Z16)

Looks awsome.........

except the interior. God everytime I see the inside of these it makes me puke. GM could have done soooo much better on the dash & center console areas. I guess cause I see alot less flexability in interior mods, such as a different deck for a aftermarket system. You'd have to replace the entire heating & air controls just to swap decks. I'm sure they will come out with a kit but good lord, how much will it cost since it'll require replacement HVAC controls. I know alot of people dont worry about these things but I'm one of those people who can never leave any car stock so I look for versitility as well as looks.

Very nice. I have not seen white stripes on that color yet. Chevrolet puts a gold bowtie on every color and everything.

I'd rather have the black one thats parked on the street in the background of some of the pics. The new Camaro just do not do anything for me. I hate to be a basher, but its just my opinion.

I've been looking for a steering wheel like that for my '02. I was thinking the same thing as soon as I saw that pic.
