Custom Paint job questions Hi guys <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I have a couple of Q's for you on color choice for a custom paint job.
I am thinking about painting the car next year (it is currently black)
I want to use a color that is easy to maintain and doesnt show a lot of water spots etc.
What would you recommend?
I think the Viper blue looks nice but I am not sure if it will show up a lot of waterspots like my current black car does.
What do you all think?

Re: Custom Paint job questions Metallic paint finishes are typically more forgiving to flaws and blems. They also show less of the swirl marks over solid colored cars.
Virtually any color, will be less likely to waterspot over black.

Re: Custom Paint job questions believe it or not white is a very easy color to maintain. White with blue stripes would be my choice if you are going to change colors. Black is definately the worst color in the world to keep clean. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I painted my 87 Mustang GT that color and not only did it shine like you wouldn't believe, but it was a very forgiving color for when it got dirty. Plus I've always wanted to see a Candy Apple Red Formula in real life, the closest thing I got to it was when I Photoshopped my 98 Formula into Candy Apple Red, see here for how it looks if you need convincing!
