Default Stay away from this crap!!!! DO NOT USE!!

Wow used this crap on my powdercoated rims last night and this is what I woke up to this morning. The only reason I got this stuff was because it came with the wheel and tire cleaner for free. Needless to say it sucks and took me forever to get it cleaned off.

it's acid...you have to rinse it and then use a degreaser (a base) to neutralize it or you'll get that on any kind of wheel. you're lucky you were able to get it off at all.....

Looks like a wheel wax. We use some at work and you're suppose to mist it on, and wipe it off according to our stuff. I know some of that stuff says to leave it on, but you end up with that crap.

all eagle 1 wheel cleaners are crap Ive tried 3 of them, 1 i bought and the other times a friend would have it at a detail session, i used it once and threw away the bottle, even when i rinsed each wheel as it said in the instructions that nasty crap would be all over. time it took to get the crap off after it dried...... 20 min. per wheel. i've found that soap and water are your best friends.

This isn't a cleaner, it's supposed to go on after you clean and dry the wheels. The instructions say to let it dry and that it will dry clear. It is supposed to put a "protective barrier" on the wheel so that brake dust and other elements can't penetrate the wheels finish and damage it. Well, it didn't dry clear that's for damn sure! I love their A2Z wheel and tire cleaner and since this came free with the purchase I thought I would give it a try since my car is a daily driver and I have damn Hawks pads up front that dust like crazy.

From Eagle One's web site

Keep Clean Wheel™ – 18 oz.

Repels brake dust & road grime for up to 2 weeks

Apply after cleaning wheel (this is not a wheel cleaner)

Protects wheels from corrosive brake dust

Makes it easier to clean wheels every time you wash
Usage directions:

Make sure wheel is clean and completely dry of water before application

Shake well before using

Hold approximately 4 to 6 inches away from wheel surface.

Spray wheel surface with a THIN, EVEN coating of product. Be sure to cover recessed areas, so the entire surface is covered.

Do not touch the wheel once you have applied the product as this will remove the coating from the surface of the wheel.
IMPORTANT NOTE:

Surface should appear wet. During the drying process, the surface of the wheel will appear hazy for approximately 5- 15 minutes. Wait 10-15 minutes before using your vehicle. Coating will be invisible once it has dried

IMO, wheel cleaners are just crap period. Soap and water has never failed me, and if need-be, a nice polish afterward.
