Default How much paint is required?

Hello everyone, I did a couple searched and couldn't find anything here or on google to hint at how much paint is required to do an F-Body. I'm looking at a single stage acrylic urethane paint from summit. I've heard 2 gallons is bare minimum, is this correct?

you'll regret a single stage paint in a couple of years....they dull and oxidize very badly. a base/clear paint will look ALOT nicer for much longer. and in response to your original question....2 gal seems like alot but if you are doing the jams and under the hood it's about right
