Re: Polished Strut Tower Brace!!!!!!!!!! Why not chrome it? That is what I did. I ordered a bare one from BMR and took it to the local chrome shop and had it done. All in all I have less in my chrome STB than what it coss for a Hotchkis one.

Since you cant polish steel I would have to agree that chroming it would be the way to go.. If it wasnt for the fact that my Hotchkis bar is a nice pewter color it would be chromed already.. I imagine I will have it done next summer for a change of pace <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Chroming a BMR bar shouldnt cost too much.. a Hotchkis type would cost a bit more since it is more intricate (more hand work)..

You just have to clearcoat it when you're done or it will rust, but carbon steel will polish just like aluminum or stainless.
