Swirl Remover that lasts
What kind are you using? Sounds more like your using a product that has oils that FILL the swirls rather than removing them. It'd be nice if there was a product that filled swirls, but it lasted for a while, for a quick fix.
However, the best way to REMOVE swirls is with a Porter Cable 7424, with an orange/white pad combo, and some Menzerna SIP.

Thanks. I'll have to go and get one of those. I've only used a big buffer but I haven't had the funds for the whole set up. For a good one anyway. I've never used or seen one of those. Thanks again.
No problem. I got mine from Tropi-care.com He's a sponsor on here, and a very great guy. If you ever need help with car detailing, he's your guy. A Porter Cable (Commonly referred to as a PC) is VERY easy to use. I used to have a big rotary buffer too, the PC is way easier to use.
A swirl remover used properly will...well...remove swirls.
Something I had to come to terms with: swirls don't appear out of thin air. They are being caused by something, and I would guess that 99% of the time it is caused by the person taking care of the car. It could be towels used for drying, improper washing technique, etc. If you really want the swirls to disappear and stay that way, you'll have to take a close look at what you are doing when you wash/detail the car.
