Default Painting Lower Airbox

has anyone done it?? may be a stupid idea, but my lower airbox is spotted all over the place, as if someone left an engine degreaser on too long and faded to a nice dark grey color....wanting to paint it gloss black of maybe match the body color...any suggestions?

If you mean the plastic piece that sits on top of the radiator, I painted mine a while ago. Have some pics at http://photos.yahoo.com/stenson104

It can be easily painted. Just primer, sand, then apply several coats of paint and clear coat.

I used Duplicolor paint that you can get at any Autozone or Pep Boys store. Just be sure to use the same brand primer, color and clear. Some brands dont react well when mixed.
