Everyone praises overseas automakers for durability yet i havnt witnessed it the way i have american cars. My KIA is awesome, but its still at 85k. Well see where it is at 150k. My Trans Am when it was stolen, had 150k and i had never had a problem! And i drove the **** out of it! I raced it, i dd it commuting 150miles a day, whats more dependable than that? We bought a honda to commute in and it fell to peices in less than 40k miles. We should all start a high mileage thread!
This i really agree, it is some kind of stupid glorification of euro/asia built **** car and nothing else. Quality is not better in these car compare to American iron. FYI my location is Sweden- Volvos promissed land you know. NOTHING BEAT an american car-thats for sure!! end of discussion

Wow man that looks amazing. I wish I could have another F-Body

Do you keep up heavy maintenance on it? Or have you just kept up with oil/plugs/wires and that's it?!

badass car man!... i like how you have kept it fairly simple with the appearance mods... alot of people tend to get carried away and it starts to look bulky and gaudy... it's very very similar to mine... i have 142k on it right now and peoples eyes get big when i tell them that lol

LOL!!!!! I really do love that little car! BUT!!! It was bought for a commuter so there you go! But it consistanly gets 38 mpg+ and still has a 2.0 DOHC 5 spd. It will keep up with a civic Si. Its peppy. Not fast by any means but for the gas mileage, i think it offers a ton of performance. It handles surprisingly well too! And it looks good with the lip kit and fogs. its a 2006 Spectra SX by the way.

Cecilia's ex-husband wanted her to get a Kia...thats part of the reason he's her ex-husband!!!

We got her a new Mustang GT...and we drove it to the beach this past weekend and it got exactly 30MPG on the road! The only draw back to is shes had it for 2 months and has gotten two tickets (its RED)...one on the way home from the dealership!!!

Thanks for the reply guys!

The car is lowered and rides great! Its the "budget lowering" job that I did a while back.

I clay bar the car about every 6 months and use NUFinish (Orange bottle) polish/wax. It is simply the best you can buy for the dollar. SIMPLY THE BEST budget polish ($5 a bottle)! I follow that up with Meguires Quik wax spray. I also wash it and use this special metal polish I got from a World of wheels car show last year.

Took the car around Talladega Super Speedway (Vets for Vettes) this weekend with my GF and both parents in the back seat and went 135 topping 4th in the Tri-Oval. Had to stop because I was running up on this slow vette poking along and you could not pass.

Everyone could not believe that it had well now 161k.

Will post pictures of the car in Victory Lane at Dega later.

Thanks again guys!
