Which brand of SS hood?

Ive used the search engine for awhile and ive found another SS hood brand glasstek. I had a ebay fiberglass hood for not even a year and its already breaking

. So now I am set on getting an SLP SS hood or an OEM. Is there any other brand of SS hood that I should consider? Thanks guys

FYI, SLP = OEM. SLP did the conversion to SS for Chevrolet.

I have had an ASCD (American Sports Car Design) 98-02 SS hood on my 2001 Z/28 since November 2001 the hood fit and finish are great no issues.

thanks for the info duffster I did not know that and I will deffiently look at those brands are there any others?

Trufiber is said to make a good fitting fiberglass hood. Fasttoys Performance sells their hood on here and they are a sponsor. They usually have good deals on them.

Seems like it might be hit and miss with this hood. Seems like fitment is good but the quality of the fiberglass and gelcoat is poor and the prep required might be extensive. It would be worth it to find an oem replacement in your area.
