Default 1960 Red Corvette detailed

This car is probably one of my absolute favorites that I've worked on. On a previous trip out, all the swirls were removed and the car looked great. This time around though we decided to try and get a lot more gloss out of the paint. Previous owner had it repainted sometime in the 1980's, so there were a few limitations to what could be done with it. However, the car finished up beautifully again with no swirls, only a few RIDS, and a fantastic gloss.

Process:
-Foamgun with Zaino Z7
-Megs APC 3:1 wheels
-Clayed with Zaino Z18
-rewashed with Zaino Z7
-Menzerna Nano on white LC
-Menzerna Nano on black LC *worked for a long time*
-IPA wipedown
-ZAIO on Chrome
-Z5pro w/ZFX
-Z2pro
-Z6 wipedown
-Z16 on tires

It was overcast most of the day unfortunately but the reflections are great on overcast days

Not that the car doesn't look good in a classic sense, but those first generation Corvettes do nothing for me. But great job on the detail!

I didn't care much for the first gen/older vettes until I went to a recent car show and saw one that was REALLY well done.... When they look good, they look really really good...

cleaned out the grime and then used Zaino AIO on it. Brought the shine back immediately.

Thanks! Although that isn't my house, but each time I'm there I really enjoy that view. That and the deer that come right up to the house too is pretty cool.
