Firehawk and Superhawk hoods I would like to upgrade the base hood of my 1999 Trans Am to a ram air system. However, I currently have a large screaming chicken decal on my base hood and want to continue to have the same decal on my new hood. This rules out most of the ram air hoods currently on the market (such as the WS6 hood) because the decal looks distorted when wrapped over the twin scoops most of the possess. This is why I'm interested in the Firehawk hood. It appears from photographs that the scoops are much more subtle allowing a better hood bird application. I have never seen one in person though. Can someone post some close up pictures of the hood from different angles so I can get a better idea on how well this will work? Also, if I find and purchase a used firehawk hood and it is damaged are new replacements still being manufactured? Does the hood work with the stock air lid?
