Default Sound Proofing the Interior - Spray-on vs Roll-on

Alright I have had enough of how loud my car is when driving at normal speeds. I can't have a normal conversation without being drowned out by excessive road and exhaust noises.

I have been doing lots of research on two types of sound proofing, however I can't figure out which route is the best way to go. I know that Dynamat roll-on sound deadner is popular, however the spray on rubber is becoming very popular as well. The roll-on deadner takes many back breaking hours, while the spray on doesnt require much prep work.

Any additional links or information that might be helpful would be awesome.

The spray on seems good even it's ugly. However, spraying the door will be a huge PITA.
