Anyone have the AR Longboard wheels??

I checked into getting them and American Racing told me they wouldn't work because they are rear wheel drive wheels <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> , and our cars uses front wheel drive wheels. You may want to check with American Racing and see if they are now compatable with the f-bodies...

That doesnt sound right. I have heard of wheels being made differently for FWD and RWD, but overall, which wheels drive the car should matter when selecting wheels. Also, our cars are RWD, why would that person say that we need FWD wheels?
