Whistler Mod Oven temp???

Default Whistler Mod Oven temp???

so im about to start this project, and I read the stickies and im a little confused on what tempature to put it on? one says 200 degrees for 20 mins that other says 300 for 10 mins, which is the best one where I wont melt my headlights?????

i did mine 200 for somewhere between 20 and 30 min. If i remember correctly 20 min just isn't long enough so i popped it back in when the lens wasn't coming off easy.

i was always weary about putting lights in an oven... i personally haven't worked on any camaro headlights but i don't think they could be any different... i have always used a hair dryer or if you have a heatgun that would work but be really careful with it

I tried 20 didnt work either so, im gonna try 30. if feels brittle. did you work on one side until it came off or worked all the way around???

i was scared too but nothing happens just put them at the lowest temp possible and check every 5-10 min till they get easy to open with 2 screwdrivers. you can try the heat gun but i think it would be hard to get even heat all the way around and might even crack the lens if one part is still stuck on well.

I had it at 200 and its coming loose but still holding, so I turned it up to 250. im also using a hair dryer to keep it hot enough, its 80+ outside and hot as **** in the kitchen
