yea, exactly don't think I want to mess around with it.. It is a nice mod to clean up the engine bay though but overall it's not bad.

Just my 2 cents....I have no plans on the wire mod either.
You don't have to splice any wires, you disconnect the connectors.

BTW car looks great, the splitter looks real good on there, first time I saw one of those splitters in person when I was dropping my car off at Speed Inc and your car was parked in front.

You're correct splice was the wrong term, from what I have seen and read you need to "extend" the wires to make it work...that means adding wire and either butt splices or soldering. Again, you're introducing points of failure that weren't the from the factory. And I now see that it's possible to make it work without a splice...so the point of failure theory goes out the window!!!! Although I don't know how wild I'd be about drilling an 1 3/4" hole in my engine compartment....

You're also moving it to a possible wet location inside a fenderwell...the risk just seems to outweigh the apperance benifit...at least to me, but that's just me...I will admit it does look cleaner though!

Car looks great now! You changed everything I personally didn't like about the car. Now its almost-perfect!

Only thing I would say could really spice it up is color-matching the sail panel SOM. That would be !!

Yes, I'm actually supposed to go out with my neighbor this weekend, she is a professional photographer but I may not get to it.. I found a great spot at Busse woods, kinda where I just snapped these pics quickly today.. You can drive up into the forest almost.

I'll let you know.

You're just scared There is no cutting, no splicing and no water (would be pretty hard to work its way up and in to where the wires are) and even if there were the connectors are waterproof (I sprayed them, back in the day before I did the mod, every time I washed the engine).

Looks SOOOO much better for just an hours work

Your car looks HOT now

the only wire i had to splice that i remember was for my alarm horn. everything disconnects and reconnects under wheel well.
