Default Aftermarket bumpers

I've saw a few aftermarket front bumpers for sale, does anyone know anything about these or has anyone tried one?........I need to replace the front end on my 95' z28 and have been considering doing an LS1 style front end swap

i say stick with the LT1 front end..but do not get any aftermarket bumper..it will look rice..instead just go with a simple lip kit if you want to change it up..i have tossed the idea of a lip around for a while also..but i havent really found one that caught my eye..good luck

I had aftermarket LS1 pieces on my front end when I bought my '93 - they lined up pretty good. I'm switching back to the LT1 front end though, because it's better.

I don't think he meant aftermarket as in "different". I think he was talking about the pieces they sell on eBay for damn cheap. You can get a fender for like $40 shipped.

The fit & finish on the aftermarket Firebird fenders isn't that great. I bought one for my front end conversion off of ebay, and it took a lot of work.

I have/had a lip kit on my Camaro. It was on the car when I bought it, it looks nice but didn't fit very well at all. The only reason I considered an LS front was because of the better selection of lights.......Right now Im trying to find a cheap V6 or z28 that I can use as a donor to rebuild the front of mine......I guess I'll end up with whichever car i find first
heres the reason for the new front end

I don't know if it will fit but I think the LS1 front end looks better with the "mouth" portion open and painted to match the car. I wish I had a pic of mine. I've seen people put after market grills in them and I really don't care for that look.
