Default Cages in a Convertable? and LS1 in a 3rd gen?

ok guys i tried to consolidate my two questions into one thread. lol hope this doesnt make mass confusion. well right now my DD well only car is my 92 Rag top. when the 305 goes out in it i plan on doing a LS1 (smogless, 92/92, baby cam, bolt ons) type of motor. hoping to see umm 350ish? now i know i cant really push anything over 300 without taking the chance of twisting my car into a tin can. also itll be a 4l60e with a shift kit and maybe like a 2800 stall. so does anyone with a Convert. have any suggestions? whether its 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gen? pics would be amazing. and anyone who has done the conversion can you give me some insight.

The main thing i want to get out of this post is:
Pics of any year converable with a cage in it and where you got it done. PLEASEEEEEEEEE

Here's where I got mine :

They also have weld-in and 5+ point cages. Mine is a 4-point bolt-in.

Keep in mind you need at least a 5-point to meet NHRA tech, and it's supposed to be weld-in I think.

Cheers,
Rob (Bad30th)
