lightest ls1 camaro hood?
I think rksport sells some race only hoods that are supposed to be way lighter than fiberglass. They told me you wouldn't want to lean on them. I had a mechamperformance hood on my old v6 and it was quite a bit lighter than my SS hood is. I bet vfnfiberglass has something for you too.
Point of reference:
My stock metal hood: 46 lbs (no hardware, painted)
Harwood 3" Cowl Hood: 13 lbs (no hardware, blocked and primed, not painted)
Hinges and supports are probably 3-4 pounds. You could save a little more by going to a pin-on hood.
