HID's on my TA *PICS*
I decided to give this a try and make some HID's for my TA cause everyone i know has HID's in their cars i think they look badass. I took the stock sealed lights out and took them apart and reassemblied them with the HID bulbs they are 10000k bulbs. My fogs are still in the mail so i haven't got them installed yet, i'll get some pic's of those also when i get them installed. I took a ride tonight to get some smokes an beer and i gotta say these lights are awesome 100x better then stock it's like driving around with two sun's glowing out of your headlight covers lol.

what bulb did you buy with the hid kit, like was it a 9006 kit? and what did you use to seal around the bulbs.
oh what size drill bit, or did you just estimate on hole size

I'll have to look an see what light it was, i put some silicone around the base basically sealed it exactly like it was when i took it apart only i had to use some sealant to make sure it didn't come apart. And yes i converted the halogen housing. And they were angled up quite abit in those pic's i've turned them down. I drove around for awhile last night and no one flashed me and drove by a few cops and no ticket so i guess they aren't blinding anyone. I'm suppose to do a few more firebirds around here i'm going to try a couple different things to see if i can get the bulb secure without having to pretty much glue it to the housing, so you can take it back out if it blows.
And thanks for the compliments.

i did this last year. i ground out the back of the sealed beams jb welded 9006 sockets on the back and put in HIDs. i have 6000 with a blue tint. i also taped off part of the lense. like the round edges to cut down on glare.

Good idea. Actually i wonder if you put the light housing in upside down to cut down the glare? I noticed the top of the headlight is reflective the bottom isn't it's painted black atleast mine are.

I have the eurolamps conversion housings, which are essentially the same thing. It took a bit to adjust them right, but I haven't had any problems with police or people flashing their lights at me

WELL ****, got my fogs today. I ordered them from a different ebayer i knew i shouldn't have but being in ohio i figured they'd come quickly. The package looked like they played soccer with it before they shipped it. I hook everything up and excited to see what it looks like, and one of the damn ballast is bad gotta send it back. Luckily a friend has an extra ballast i'm going to borrow till i get the another one.
