LOL at all the people with the "i drive my car balh blah blah".

well people with clean bays do too. just shows you are lazy and dont really have enough pride in your car to take care of it like you should. i drove this 250 miles to a show, and then 250 miles home, all in one weekend, and you can eat off anything in the bay.

again, awesome looking engine bay bro. dont let the haters drag ya down.

Thanks guys! I actually would like to change the battery cover, but it was bought for me as a gift, so it's gonna stay. After I painted the lid I installed it without anything on it, but it just looked to plain to me.

Actually all I did on all the red was body parts was hand polish with 3M Finesse-it II a couple times & follow with wax. Believe it or not, the paint in my engine bay was horrible when it was new. Almost looked like it only got "dusted on" from the assembly line, but polished up like this & I haven't done anything else to it in 7 years since. BTW, yours looks awesome too! I wish my fenders were all smooth like that, but don't want to do that much work right now.

thts amazing that you polished the factory paint out like that. i didnt think the bays were even cleared? ya learn something new everyday, i thougt yours was base/cleared!

it is, his name is terry blanton and hes a god friend of mine. its a one owner formula, numbers matching stroked 383. beautiful paint, full air ride, the whole 9 yards. fully restored by hawksthirsgen in easley, sc. his username on here is BluByU383. be on the lookout for a completely custom 4th gen vert here within the next year that hes having built! it will arguably be one of the nicest custom 4th gens in the county when its done!
