What do you use on the vinyl stripes? I have those same stripes but they are ruined (I think) with water spots. Any recommendations on what I could use to help hide them?

Distilled water and vinegar should work.

will distilled water and vinegar get stubborn water spots off of my grand prix's hood? Is it a 50/50 mix?

Not "stubborn" stains. You'll need to compound those.Maybe even wet sand if there severe enough.Got any pics?
