major headlight problem!!

major headlight problem!! so i changed my headlight motor a few weeks ago, and after i did the headlight is sticking up like an inch. There is also a bunch of give i can pull the headlight up at least half way. I manually lowered the headlight but after i turned it on and back off it is back to the same place. Adjusting it did not do any good either. Anybody know how to fix it?

Yep, or the arm slipped past the stopper and it's going backwards. Compare it to the other side. I have one stopper so chewed up I had to use electric tape to keep the damn arm from swinging by. Just temporary but I'm not sure what I'm going to do for a permanent fix.
