Questions About eBay Projectors and HIDs...
Questions About eBay Projectors and HIDs... I've read the stickies and I still have some questions.
I want to get the eBay headlights with the 2 CCFL halos and the LEDs on the sides. I'd also like to have higher output HIDs.
From what I understand, if I buy just the projector headlights I will end up using some normal halogen bulb.
Then I can buy some kinda HID kit from DDMtuning that is just wiring of some sort. With this I can use some other bulbs that make the projectors HID???
Then I would have to buy a whole seperate kit for the foglight.
Is what I am saying correct?

They use different bulbs, but come with them usually.... The high beam is probably still 9005.
Once you know what type of bulb it is (got the link to them?) you can get the HID kit with the right bulb number for the projector from ddmtuning.

Well interesting.... I thought they had the same H3 bulbs as the others, but the back of the projector is different looking.
Would you mind taking a pic of the back of the projector with the rubber cap removed, and a pic of the bulb when you get them? It comes with halogen bulbs to begin with.

Correct.
I can't tell the bulb type from the rubber cap. I just noticed the cap is different than the cap on another set that looked like those. So that may mean they just used a different cap now, or that the projector itself has been updated. That's why I want pics.
