Default C5 wheel fitment question....

I have a set of four of the 18"x9.5" "Fat" 5 spoke wheels, what fitment problems will I have trying to install them on all four corners of my 2002 Z28? I would assume that they will fit ala Z06 wheels, but just making sure... Thanks, Shawn

If I recall correctly, none. The wheels should have around a 57 - 58 mm offset. For tires run 275/35ZR18 tires and the overall diameter will be the same and the speedo will not off.

How do I measure the offset of a wheel? I assume that I can lay a straight edge across the back of the rim, measure from the mounting surface to the lip and !BAM! backspacing measurement...am I correct? (I assume that backspacing is the same as offset????)

Back space and offset are different, The back space should be somewhere between 7.25" and 7.5". And your desciption of how to measure is pretty much so right on.

Offest is the distance from the center line of the wheel to the mounting surface.

www.FIKSE.com has a great page of wheel specs.
