Default Molding

I know this has been covered but the search brings me tons of crap. I just took my molding off. One thing, using the fricken 3M adhesive remover and the drivers side is a bitch.... Passenger side came off with my finger and no remover. Second, how do I get the outline off? Will clay bar and wax handle that? Just a brown outline. HELP!

You can try the clay bar, but a buffer with some polish/compound will take care of it quicker. I used the Porter Cable with some Menzerna to clean it up.

you can do it by hand, just takes longer... just do it in a circular pattern

I you have time to order one, look up the Astro Eraser wheel. Auto Supply stores sometimes carry them, but you won't find them at Autozone, Murrays, Pep Boys, etc... They work wonders!! And some Meguiers quick detail and a rag should take care of the remaining lines. If not a claybar definitely will.

3M adhesive remover and clay bar dominated everything!
