My understanding is that B&M backed away from doing this a few years ago due to concerns with the reverse lockout mechanism.

I would have done this ages ago it's pretty easy, but you cannot manually upshift your car and shift earlier than your programmed shift points.

I have manually shifted my car to wind it out past LOW shift points for testing purposes but even with my FLP level IV and the vacuum modulator it does not really shift like a 700R4.

I like the ability to downshift without going all the way to 1st by accident. I have a lot more control of the tranny on fast winding roads.

Put me down as a potential customer for a B&M 4L60E ratchet shifter - they look neat! I'm definitely interested

I'd get on the band wagon if it worked and didn't have tear up the car for it to fit.

I'm looking at it like Orange Crush, no splits steer the car. Anyway, put me in for one. Nothing worse than launching and your hand hit the shifter back into 2nd right about time for 3rd. I hate that. The only button I need on a shifter is for the 100shot .

Charlie.
