Help with Weld Prostar lug nut washers. I need some help with my rusting lug nut washers. With all the rain that we had last week, I left the Hot Rod on the trailer in the rain. Now I need to do some thing to keep these things from rusting. It doesn't look very good to have a 2002 Hot Rod with rust on the wheels. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
I was thinking about stripping them and painting them. Has anyone done this?
Can a buy stainless steel ones?(part number)?
Please help!

Re: Help with Weld Prostar lug nut washers. Did you get the WELD washers and lugs orthe cheap Excalibur brand?
The WELD washers won't rust.
If you want to clean the ones you have just use some Mothers aluminum polish <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

A place in Houston(not a sponser on here)sold them to me and I don't know which ones that I have. They do say "wheel side" on them, if this helps. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
