aftermarket seats I bought my wife a 96 T/A, and she loves the car but is having back issues because of the seats. She has an injured back, and the factory seats make her back hurt after about 45 mins.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket seat with a flatter back? It's the seat back curvature that causes her problems. Playing with the adjustable lumbar is no help.

Not sure if you wanna downgrade to cloth or not , but the stock cloth firebird NON-articulating seats are alot more comfortable and the back is flatter . Its a direct swap . Pontiac did put non-articulating seats with leather from 98-02 , but its a really hard seat to find . Non-articulating leather seat was standard and articulating was the option which most of them had . If you were patient ya might be able to find a good used set of non-articulating leather . Also you might wanna try the Camaro seats . The front seats also directly swap into the firebird . The backs are flatter yet and the interior colors per year on the camaro are the same as the firebird .
Given her needs , I think she'd be happier one of those alternatives over a typical heavily contoured aftermarket seat .

Tell your wife i feel her pain too LOL as i too have had lower back problems and it kills my back to take my 35th LE SS out sometimes.I think the 95 T/a's have that lumbar adjustment as well as the adjustable side supports
