headlight motor dead??
headlight motor dead?? hey everyone. i know many people with trans ams have had issues with the headlight motor gears getting worn out and spinning but has anyone had a headlight motor actually die?
when i got my car a year ago the left headlight would sometimes pop up and sometimes not. as time went on it was getting worse and worse until now it wont work at all. all i hear is a clicking sound from some small box with wires coming out of it that is attached to the fuse box. does this mean the motor is fried? i want to buy a new motor but only if it is def the problem. there is no noise at all coming from the actual motor

i had the same problem with mine on the same side. it ended up being the headlight wiring harness connector was all corroded. i just cut the connector out and used butt connectors. problem solved.
