Fuel Rail Cover Idea.
Fuel Rail Cover Idea. Mine engine bay has orange wire loom, and stb. I thought about getting some fuel rail covers and painting them orange to match the stb. Then have some custom chrome C A M A R O decals made to put on them with a couple of Z28 decals also. Do you think this would look pretty good. Please post pics of you frc's. Thanks!

Painting the FRC's will look good and I've seen them with the CAMARO lettering on them. They look nice as well.

Re: Fuel Rail Cover Idea. IMHO, you are going for too much orange. Since all your wires are now orange and the STB, if your FRC's are orange too, your engine compartment is going to be one big peice of fruit. Everything will blend into a big orange mess, and if the oranges (paints not fruits) don't match perfectly it will look very tacky.
I say you have two choices, paint the FRC's a contrasting color, or neutral, such as black, then all your existing accents will be highlighted. A nice small touch would be to paint the valve covers orange. A small portion of them are visible from below the FRC's. I have my FRC's painted black with the afterthoughs brushed chrome decals, and the valve covers are red.
The second choice, change the wires to black and then have orange FRC's.
Too, much of an accent color can be VERY overwhelming. I'm into sophisticated subtleties
