I'm a firm believer in the idea that it's what you put into it to make it unique that counts. That's one of the main reasons I opted for a Z28, for one thing, I don't like the way the stock SS hook curves back in towards the rear like a tear drop, so I got a suncoast hood (which I love) and it keeps goin out, looks real sweet. Anyway, I love the look of his car, and in some ways I think it is MORE of a Super Sport than some other SS's I've seen posted on this board. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> I just know whenever I pull my SS/Z28 in between some SS's at the local show and shine they raise their noses to me and look the other way, and personally I don't like that. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

I agree with you, some SS owners can be kinda arrogant about how they have "the SS..." Just like some vette owners think they are the ****...These people usually don't know much about car, just that they have a fast one is all they care about...I have not met many of these people, but they exist...
I am all about the "wow" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> followed by the stare you get while out driving... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

I personally love the way the black Z28 badges look on my pewter Z <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> .

But just being able to say the words SS sounds better and more "race car like"

I'm not huge fan of the UltraZ hood, but I think

My plain 'ole red beater is just too plain. Maybe
when I get around to doin some work on it, i'll be
thinking about some nice paintjobs.
