I guess there was a shift light?
Can this be fixed?

 

I bought some kind of dash repair kit at autozone because my dash about in the same spot has a crack in the leather. I havent used it yet tho but it looks pretty easy to do.

 

yup but kind of a bitch to do but foam the dip, cut sand smooth and re-wrap the dash with new leather. theres a couple of threads on interior stuff where ppl re-wrap the whole car....like mixing colors, using swuade. looks sweet and is kindo of cheip but lots of labor

 

Don't waste your time with that. It will make it look worse than the crack. Either fix it right, or leave it alone. I had a crack in my dash I tried to fix with that stuff and now I just have this slightly discolored/differently textured blob on the middle of the dash with a crack running through it...

 

+1. Luckily mine didn't stick well so I was able to pull it off.

 

why not just buy a dash cover from ebay for $30?
