Default TA or Firebird bumper???

So I got into an accident a couple weeks ago, and Im waiting for my car to be finished up within the next 10 days (hopefully) since the body shop called me to tell it was going to take longer since they cant find a new TA bumper for it. That got me thinking about just telling them to order a regular firebird bumper since I was already planning on doing that later on down the line with removing the door sills, and "trans am" badging on the sides. Do you guys think the auto body shop would be willing to do it, and what is your guys input on this?

Here are some photos of what I want to do exactly...

If your going to take the ground fx of you better do it now and let them fill the holes under it...if not it will have to go back (or you will have holes all along the side.)

Personaly I would leave it a TA.

Do whatever you think looks better, but please don't take off the side GFX. If you do, put a Firebird rear bumper on too!

I would definitely leave all the gfx on the car, but just change out the front bumper, and remove the badging, and door molding. I just have to call the auto body shop to see if they can get the firebird bumper instead.

This is a most recent picture of my car before the accident, the ws6 emblem is now off tho.

I really like the firebird bumper, plus its rarely seen. I think the firebird bumper wiht maybe a lip kit like the factory one would be cool.

Is your car a Formula or a V6 car? If its a Formula I didnt know the W68 was an option for it.

So I just ended up ordering the trans am bumper instead. Im still planning on just removing the ws6 badge, and the trans am badging. But leaving the side molding on.

I would have put the Firebird bumper on and a 6LE splitter to tie in with the TA ground effects.

I would of loved to get the firebird bumper, but the body shop ordered the trans am bumper already, so Im kinda stuck with it. Unless I can find one in the classifieds for a good deal. Ill just have to wait, and see...

I always like the ws6 badge, but I just think it looks better without it. Plus my car isnt a real ws6.
