Default Berger panel on Monteray red?

I have looked thru several threads on the "berger Panel" mod and still haven't seen on one a Monteray Red Metallic car. I'm pretty sure I want to do this, but would love to see one first. It seems that this color is not very common or atleast not very popular. If you have pics, please post. Thanks in advance.

do you have a shot of the back where someone could photoshop it? hahaha, thats just not a really widespread color, so its hard to dig examples up.

I like the berger panel, ive got it on my red car, no pics yet. but overall im a fan, havent seen it on your color though

I don't think it would look bad at all. The only cars that shouldn't do it in my opinion are black, and NBM cars. Don't get me going on a black car with a flat black berger, or white/silver. Looks like ****!

I wouldn't worry about it. Go get a panel from a junk yard, and make the panel. If you don't like it then put the stock one back on.

Painting what? If you are referring to the panel on the back of the car that has "CAMARO" engraved in it, then yes. Alot of people refer to that as a "Berger Panel" when painted flat/satin black. If this is what you are asking about type in "Berger panel" into the search bar, and you will see what we are talking about.

Do it! Gloss black would look best to me, maybe with dark red Camaro inserts as well?

Well I did it, I don't know why it took me so long to decide. I went with semi gloss. I used the Dupli-color "trim black". It has a nice satin finish. Now I just need some inserts for the camaro. Thinking about gloss black or maybe chrome. I even removed the emblems and reinstalled them afterward.

I had to take the pipes off and have one bent some more. They were off to the left by 4". Just had to wait untill I could get it in the exhaust shop.

Thanks for the kind words. I think it is the perfect color too. As for the lights, I don't know. Both sides are the exact same, almost like they were made that way. Good thing is they function just fine. Maybe it is a year model thing (different supplier or something)

I'm not sure what monteray red is but here is mine, its not red, its a metallic color as well...I had it painted flat black or semi flat I cant remember its been years since I had it done. Then I bought the aluminum inserts for the lettering...looks way better than the vinyl stickers...go polished aluminum all the way...

Looks good man! I just got mine done in gloss black. Still need to get the bowtie on and the camaro inserts.

As for the tail lights being dented, it's probably from a previous owner having covers on them. i've heard that often dents them...
