Default Billet e brake handle

Has anyone ever come across a billet aluminum ebrake handle for a LS1 trans am, (or camaro I assume)?

I have a nice satin finish billet aluminum shift **** and thought an e brake handle would be nice to match. Looked all over the internet and haven't been able to find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Never seen it before. Went through the custom interior mods thread real quick. Didnt see any on the first several pages.

Would be a good idea though.

I dont think the handle is even removable from the assembly (not easily at all at least.) I wanted to have the factory handle chromed and got no where with it. Of course I bought one from a guy on here to try to take apart and he never shipped it...so I just gave up on it and put a redlinegoods boot on it instead.

I have a boot on it too, but the actual handle is kinda ugly in my opinion. I thought it just came off with the one screw holding it on. At least my third gen firebird does.
Oh well, thanks for checking for me.

Wish there was a way someone knew how to remove it I had my transmission rebuilt and the place that did it scuffed the hell out of the handle by removing the console. Now it is an eye sore.

You know what...I mis-read what he was asking (damn work distracting me!) I thought he was asking about the E-Brake arm because he had a billet handle to put on it. THATS the piece I wanted to have chromed...the metal arm piece the leather handle slides over.

ANYWAY...YES, you can take that handle off easy. Pull it up, there is a rivet hole on the inside part by the console. Drill that rivet out and the handle will slide off. Then just put it back on using a screw (like the 3rd gen cars did.) As for a billet handle...I have never seen one.

just because it can be changed doesnt mean it should be, there is such a things as over-modding.
