Default 35th Grill touch up question?

I installed my 35 Ann Grill yesterday and all went well except for how the fasteners set against the grill. I was very careful about marking and drilling at proper angles but after putting on the grill, the fasteners don'e sit completely flush. I've pushed on them until I turn blue but there is too much flex in the grill and it just welts in rather than the fastners pushing flush.
I've painted them so its hard to tell unless you are right next to the car. Its driving me nuts because I know they are not flush. Any advice out there would be appreciated. Thanks!

Default Re: 35th Grill touch up question?

On my SS grille, the pine cones were a B***h to get in. I got most of mine flush but I think there are two that just won/t budge. I even used a 2x4 and a hammer on a couple of them. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
