yeah I might get the polished 18/18 DD c5 wheels when they come out. It is a ls1. I have the factory ws6 hood. I should be all done in a few weeks or so. I am going to get someone to take some nice pics for me when its done.

Looks good. I like how you painted the roof hoop black instead of going body color.

the paint was around 400. I did the prep my self and paid my friend to spray the car.

looks nice. in the new gm high tech mag they got a ss they got as a rolller for a project, they painted it gray too.
in the future when i get another lt1 car i would want to paint it sandstone gray. the color that was on 3000gt vr4's

this is darker i had it for about a year now

Are you sure its not becuase its in the shade? A lot of colors look different out of the sun. Can you please post some pics of yours or a link to a thread of yours?

its in the shade and my camara is a pos. its much lighter in the sun. will get more pics this weekend

Thanks, I added some to my album.

The TA does look a little darker but I agree that it could be the angle from which the picture is taken or just the sunlight. These metalic paints really come to life w/direct sunlight or even artificially light similar to those used when the ZR1 was unveiled.

More pics of the 2 TA's for comparison.
