I have TT2's and mine aren't clear coated. I use Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish on mine. Check my profile and open my POS site with IE,,,,,

I agree Mother's seems to make the best aluminum polish!

I have the TT2's also and they suck to polish. I use mothers on them and they take 1/2 can a piece plus a half hour of elbow grease for each. But boy do they look good when I am done.

Here is a simple test ot see if the wheel lip is clear coated or not. Take a white terry cloth towel and some mild wax, out a little on the towel and start ot gentlely rub the wheel lip. If the towel turns black and the wheel turns shiney then they are not clear coated. If the towel does not turn black they are cleared.
Any auto parts store is going to sell quality metal polish if your wheels are not cleared. Mothers and Eagle one make nice stuff. Sometimes called rouge.
