wtf paint just chipped off

wtf paint just chipped off well my paintin my car just randomly chipped off...i was getiing my car ready for a car show tomarrow and clayed the car and then washed it and the paint in my rear queaarter panel driver side just chipped off with th water spray is this something that is normal with gm paint if see fading bu not this......ive had the car for 5 years and i bought the car with 38000 thousand miles now 104 the car has been taking care of with waz every 3 months etc, i dont know if to paint the whole car or to paint just the quarter , i dont want to thow money at the quarter if the whole car is goingto do that checkit out would love to hear your opinions the car is an 01
same thing happend to mine, except mine was driver side at the rear of the qtr pnl.
delamination is what i was told by the paint shop. its only going to get bigger and worse if you dont fix it.
come to think of it, my car is even the same color as yours. mines a 2000 tho.

So is this gonna happened n with the rest of the car is is this a product of a bad repair? The base coat u can see sanding marks..I don't want to repair it if its gonna keep happening to the rest of thecar rather save for a complete car paint....thankms in advancefor the advise
