Re: Borla Tips are hard to CLEAN!
Damian is exactly right. Neverdull, although it can be "messy", works really well. The more elbow grease you put in it, the better the results!!! I go over mine at least twice. The end result is worth it.
P.S. Neverdull, smells really bad...

Re: Borla Tips are hard to CLEAN!
Actually they are pretty easy to clean, but what you should have is a Stainless Steel cleaner/polish. 3M makes a real good one. It comes in an aerosol type spraycan. If the tips get ashpalt or other road grime they can come almost new by hitting them with a soapy BRILLO pad - then rinsing - then polishing with the cleaner/polish. I also feed a long terrycloth towel between the tips and buff each side of each tip independently. Fully-polished stainless steel of BORLA quality will last a long, long time and still look almost new. Get some 3M Stainless Steel cleaner and if you continue to use it regularly your tips will stay clean easier.

Re: Borla Tips are hard to CLEAN!
Typically the outside of the tip is pretty easy to clean.. The inside or the fins area of the intercooled part have a baked on black look to them after a while. Hit them with believe it or not.. Oven Cleaner.. haha.. Hey it works!.
Take a small toothbrush like the ones sold for kids and you should be able to make them look new again!
