Ram Air Question?

Ram Air Question? I just got the SLP firehawk hood on my 98 TA and there are so called bafels in the 2 hols (ram air hols) and I was woundering if i would gain a lot if i just made it wide open and cut them out of there. has anyone done such a thing?? If so, could use some help.

Re: Ram Air Question? I'm not sure about the Firehawk hood, but I know people take out the baffles of their WS6 hood. Be careful in the rain. You might want put them back in if you're going to be driving in bad weather.

Re: Ram Air Question? I removed the baffles, installed turbulence elimnation funnels, sealed the hood to air box, and even made up some rain shields for inclement weather. You can see pics by clicking on link in sig.
