Is this a dumb idea?
like EVERYONE has said, theres nothing wrong with adding the hood/spoiler. just dont rebadge it.
i agree with you but at the same time, i dont. because, from my searches Z28's typically run 6-10K, where as SS's are usually 10and up, mostly in the 12-14K range though. so thats a considerable difference. and you could easily eith buy aftermarkets or search an find OEM SS parts to have the same look. same reason i didnt get the WS6. but, like you said, every once and a while there is an SS to be had for cheap

Thanks everyone. I am a little sketchy on the SS parts because it's not an SS. Believe me, I wanted an SS. I went with this Z28 because it only had 16,XXX miles on it at the time. It was also stock. I'll check out the other things. I really appreciate it!
Like they said its all good as long as you dont put the SS emblems, but if it was me I'd do a 4" VFN cowl hood and a freedom design spoiler. Thats my plan for my car whenever I get the extra cash.
